Newport Pant - size 6 & 12 left
Our newest pant offering and the result of years of research and development, these jeans from Hemp Clothing Australia will take you anywhere!
A high-rise, wide-leg pant, they are made from a premium denim crafted from a hemp and organic cotton blend. This mid-weight denim twill functions between a jean and a pant, that's easily styled up or down, all year round.
The sophisticated style of the high rise waist and wide leg creates a timeless and exceptionally flattering fit. The shaped waistband allows the pants to sit high, highlighting the waist and lifting the butt, without being uncomfortable. A pocket-free front creates smooth and flattering lines; keeping it modern and understated. This pant will be a versatile wardrobe staple on high-rotation throughout the seasons.

More about Hemp Clothing Australia
Hemp Clothing Australia are an Adelaide label with an international impact. Creating hemp-based clothing in modern and timeless silhouettes, they’re bringing hemp to the mainstream. The HCA team have worked hard over many year to advocate for, grow and support the hemp industry in Australia.
The growing of hemp has huge environmental benefits over other fibre crops (think less water use, higher yields per hectare and less insecticides). Given its outstanding functionality as a fabric – durable, anti-bacterial and sweat wicking - we believe it is the fibre crop of the future.
The hemp used in HCA products is grown in China, where hemp-growing communities have thousands of years of experience growing and manufacturing the plant, as well as a deep knowledge of using every part of the plant.
As well as their passionate environmental focus, HCA also ensure all people throughout their supply chain are treated respectfully, working reasonable hours, receiving at or above award wages and paid overtime, with strict no-child policies in place and audited. While they are the first to admit to challenges working with international suppliers – including in regards to oversight of working conditions - over the years they have come to develop strong, long-term relationships of trust with their manufacturing partners. Their manufacturers are small and specialised, allowing different teams to work on different products for the label, based on their expertise. Working with small teams in this way allows HCA greater efficiency, reduces waste and improves quality control.
Along with the beautiful products we stock, HCA work directly with organisations to produce specialised clothing – such as school and work uniforms – and work with members of our local fashion community to help them to access hemp fabrics and blends. They have truly big hearts and a wealth of knowledge of the hemp industry and history, and we are blessed to have them onboard at Slowclothes.
