Ella Fashion

Emmeline Dress - 8, 10 & 12

Sale price Price $320.00 Regular price

This dress is a classic (with a dose of fun and sprinkle of vintage vibes). Loose in the body, it is a mix of comfort and easy elegance. The skirt is double layered for extra volume and the high neck closure with the frill details transpose French chic for the Australian climate.

I love the loose, comfy fit and feminine details, and that's it's not short short!

— Frill detail that goes from front to back
— High neck closure with button and elastic loop in the back
— Short double layered skirt

About the Brand

One of our newest additions here at Slowclothes, Ella Fashion has a unique aesthetic and trendless vibe. Pamela - the founder of Ella - is deeply influenced by the grace and charisma inherent in stagecraft, after spending many years in the performing arts. She creates pieces for the everyday that emphasise the role of its wearer in bringing life to the garment.

With dual design citizenship of the old and new worlds, the designs reflect her weaving of Austrian heritage and Australian home. Made in Australia, they resonate with bare skin southern summers and the jacketing northern snow of Vienna, blending the natural fabrics that suit both climates in sculptural jackets and delicate dresses.

80% of Pamela's collections are made from natural deadstock fabrics (leftovers from bigger design houses) and tencel/cupro, a non-toxic, biodegradable version of viscose that is incredibly soft and drapey. All unsold garments are remade into new pieces, minimising waste.

Pamela makes many of the pieces herself, and the rest are made by a local NSW factory that does all the right things (of course!).
