Have you ever begun a lifestyle or slow fashion challenge, only to give up because you ate the cake/made the purchase/skipped the gym session?
I never identified as a perfectionist, but I recently realised that wanting 'to do things well or not at all' is actually undermining my attempt to live more sustainably! So here goes: Is failing a slow fashion or zero-waste challenge really a sustainability failure? What are the end goals of sustainability in fashion anyway?
I hope that in reading a little about my recent ah-ha moment and ongoing sustainability journey you will a) cut yourself some slack and b) find a renewed sense of positivity to keep trying. Because even the smallest step in the right direction is a step in the right direction!
